Tour participants join the tour in Ijselmonde yard. Loco’s 2275, 2270, 2266 & 2244 would soon be shunted on top of 1501 for the first part of the tour. These Bo Bo loco’s had been the mainstay of diesel power in Holland for some time and were ousted by the class 6400 loco’s which were being introduced in the early 1990s.
