Having dipped my toes my toes into Belgium I set off on another trip that was also to be a taster for Luxembourg. I went down to Brussels via Roosendaal and Antwerp, a route I would gradually become very familiar with. One thing I was still trying to get my head round was the language and Belgium is a country to confuse the uninitiated. I took some time to get used to Antwerp (in English) transforming into Anvers in French and Antwerpen in Flemish, or was that Waloon. Why some stations were named in Flemish and others Waloon only complicated the fact that some were done in both. Brussels is Brussel or indeed Bruxelles. For the sake of clarity I will be using the locally used names. Got it ?
