Luxembourg, The city and the Country share the same name. eh?. Both combined apparently make up “The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg” or Groussherzogtum Lëtzebuergin in their own language. So why do most people there speak French. I am confused. So arrival in Luxembourg means that I arrive on a Belgian unit and the first trains I see are two Belgian class 55s. 5505 and 5529 stand side by side with stock off the bi-hourly service to Liege / Liers. The locos are blue and yellow to indicate electric train heating, the boiler fitted or no heat variants being green and yellow.
