When I visited in 1992, the Utrecht tram system was operated by the national railways network. The spotting book had the trams and the network was shown in the Atlas I used so it “had” to be done. Since my visit the system has changed hands and although still named “Sneltram” it is operated by Connexion. This shot shows tram 5008 at the terminus of Achtoveld, the similarity to the still to be built (at this time) Manchester Metrolink trams.
